Order

What happens when I place an order?

Congratulations on taking your first step towards inner peace! Once you've placed your order, expect a confirmation email to arrive at the address you provided during purchase. If you don't see it in your inbox, it's a good idea to check your spam folder, as sometimes emails can end up there.

How long will it take to receive my order?

We aim to have your order prepared for shipment within 24 hours of placement (working days only). For instance, if you place your order on a Tuesday, it should be ready for shipment by Wednesday.

How can I track my order?

As soon as your parcel is registered with the carrier DPD, you'll receive an email containing your shipping track and trace code. You can use this code on the DPD website to track the status of your order. If you haven't received a shipping track and trace email, please reach out to us (and remember to check your spam folder) or to DPD directly.

I never got my order, what can I do?

We're sorry to hear that! Please contact Calmness at info@calmness.life, providing your full name and order number, and we'll assist you promptly.

Can I change the delivery address of my order?

Once your order is placed, it's promptly processed for dispatch. While we'll do our best to accommodate address changes, it's possible your order has already been prepared. Reach out to us, and we'll check the status and assist you accordingly.

Can I cancel or change my order?

Unfortunately, once an order is placed, cancellations or changes are not possible. However, if the products are still in your wallet, you can swap them for preferred ones, subject to product availability.

I received the wrong order, what can I do?

In the event of an order error, please contact us immediately at info@calmness.life. We'll send out the correct item along with a return slip for any incorrect items.

Shipping

Who ships my order?

We ship via DPD Netherlands. You can track your package at DPD Netherlands (https://www.dpd.com/nl). If you have any shipping-related questions, please contact DPD Netherlands directly at 0900-3734663 (available from Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm, €0.50 per call).

What are the shipping costs for my order?

For orders above €60, we offer free shipping. For orders below €60, the shipping costs are €6.95 in The Netherlands, and €6.95 for Belgium & Germany.

What if I am not at home during shipping?

You'll receive a time interval via email, so you know exactly when the postal worker will arrive. They can deliver your product to your neighbours or to a parcel shop. Alternatively, you can contact the delivery person directly.

What is the shipping time of my order?

DPD standard shipping times are 1-3 business days. For any shipping inquiries, please contact DPD Netherlands directly at 0900-3734663 (available from Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm, €0.50 per call).

To what countries does Calmness ship?

Calmness ships with DPD to the following countries: Netherlands, Belgium & Germany.

Exchange & Returns

Can I exchange my order?

We don't facilitate exchanges. The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Can I return my order?

Not completely satisfied with your purchase? No problem! We have a 60-day return policy, which means you have 60 days after receiving your item to request a return. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, please follow the next steps:

1. Contact us at info@calmness.life and register your return 

2. Log in at calmness.life, click on your order and click on the ‘request return’ button

3. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address: Nijenburg 73, 1081 GE Amsterdam, the Netherlands. While we offer a 60-day return window, the cost of shipping the item back will be covered by the customer (€6.95 shipping in Netherlands)

4. Once we receive and process your return at our warehouse, we'll refund you the product price minus the return shipping fee (€6.95 shipping in Netherlands) within 5 working days

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, or damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. You can always contact us for any return questions at info@calmness.life. 

When will I receive my refund?

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at info@calmness.life.

What items can not be returned?

Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Warranty

What is the warranty period for Calmness products?

The Calmness Acupressure Mat and all related mat products are covered by a 5-year warranty, ensuring protection against defects in craftsmanship and materials. If you encounter any issues beyond normal wear and tear, please contact us with photos and defect details, and we'll assist you in submitting a warranty claim. All other Calmness products have a standard warranty period of 1 year. If you experience any problems with our products, please don't hesitate to contact us, and we'll assist you in submitting a warranty claim.

What is the Calmness Acupressure Mat made of?

We offer two acupressure mat sets: Calmness Eco Mat and Calmness Mat.

- The Calmness Eco acupressure mat utilizes 100% organic linen and a coconut fiber cushion, providing both eco-friendliness and durability for a luxurious experience.

- The Calmness Mat is made of soft sponge padding for a relaxing experience.

I’m pregnant, can I use the Calmness Acupressure Mat?

Unfortunately, we do not recommend using the Calmness Mat during pregnancy, especially in the first trimester, as acupressure may induce labor in some cases. Always consult your healthcare professional before using the mat. However, it proves to be a safe and supportive tool in the postpartum stage for alleviating back tension, hip tightness, sleeplessness, stress, and more.

I have a medical condition, can I use the Calmness Acupressure Mat?

While acupressure mats can be recommended by health professionals, we strongly advise consulting with your doctor before use.

How do I clean my Calmness Acupressure Mat?

Follow these five simple steps to ensure proper care for your Calmness Acupressure Mats:

1. Remove the inner foam: Take out the inner foam, whether it's made of foam or coconut fiber, from your Mat or Pillow.

2. Hand wash the cover: Gently hand wash the Calmness cover, made from organic cotton and non-toxic dyes, using warm soapy water.

3. Clean the spikes: Use a scrubbing brush or old toothbrush to scrub any dirty spikes.

4. Rinse and air-dry: Thoroughly rinse the cover and hang it to dry in the shade.

5. Re-insert the foam: Once dry, re-insert the material, whether it's foam or coconut fiber, and your Calmness Mat or Pillow is ready for use.

What are other helpful tips for maintenance of my Calmness Acupressure Mat?

Here are some of our tips:

- Avoid machine washing: Steer clear of machine washing your Calmness Mat or Pillow, as the spikes are not suitable for machine handling.

- Use mild detergent: Choose a mild or eco-friendly laundry detergent. For stubborn stains, apply a stain remover soap directly to the affected area.

- Sunlight precautions: Refrain from soaking or drying your Mat and Pillow in direct sunlight to preserve their color, as they are crafted from organically certified cotton and dyes, along with foam or coconut fiber.

- Reinserting The Pillow material: When reinserting The Pillow material, turn the cover inside out, align the half-moon seam with the material, and fold the cover over.
